Volleyball Drills, Coaching and Self Confidence are all keys to building a winning team. Telling a player that “my grandma can play better than that” is in no way a positive approach to giving your players confidence. With that being said, the building of an individual’s own self-confidence is very important for a coach or player when participating in any type of sport, for lack of better words believe in yourself and you will find success!!
Coaches and Confidence
Since, most players are hesitant to back a coach that may be un- sure of who they are and their own goals, it is of utmost importance that a coach not only have confidence in themselves but also have confidence in the players, no matter what level of playing experience they have. Coaches that are positive in both action and attitude are most likely to encourage the same type of mind – set in others: it can be players, peers, and acquaintances just to mention a small number of people that may be affected.
The good news is that even though the building of one’s self esteem may not be easy for some people it is readily attainable to all, the two elements of determination and focus are needed to carry this out, what’s even more important is the things that you will do, such as volleyball drills, to build confidence and set you up for success – with that being said, strength of character comes from real, solid accomplishment and hard work.
